Women's Results
LISLE, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan men's cross country team placed fifth of 15 teams and the women placed fifth of 17 teams at the Benedictine Eagle Invitational, held at the Lisle, Ill. Community Park on Friday, October 8.
The men's team had 163 points as the winning team was the University of St. Francis with 26, followed by the University of Chicago with 52.
The IWU women's team had 182 points as the winning team was the University of St. Francis with 41, followed by St. Mary's (Ind.) with 58.
Senior
Wally Farris placed 11th for the IWU men with a time of 26:49.91 and sophomore
Ethan Wood was 35th at 28:27.05. Senior
Mike Czajkowski had a time of 28:27.52 and finished 36th in the point-scoring and in 37th place for points was freshman
Aaron Smith at 28:28.49.
Three freshmen were the top finishers in the meet for the IWU women -
Cassie Anderson was in 21st place with a time of 24:52.95 and
Chloe Staub was 21st with her time of 25:03.13.
Kate Even had a time of 25:22.39 and finished 25th.
