Aurora Spartan Classic Women's Results - Sept. 10

AURORA, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan women's team finished second of 12 entries and the men's team placed fourth of 13 at the Aurora Spartan Classic cross country meet on Friday, Sept. 10.

The women had 43 points, second to the University of Chicago with 36. The Titan men amassed 120 points and trailed Chicago (22), North Central (48) and Wheaton (62).

For the women, senior Liz Ave Maria finished third with a time of 23:32.5 and senior Lorin Biosca was fourth with a mark of 23:45.6. Illinois Wesleyan sophomores Elise Anderson and Rachael Williams were 10th and 11th, respectively, with times of 24:02.1 and 24:09.2.

Illinois Wesleyan junior Tyler Saunders was the low IWU male finisher, placing 17th with a time in the 8K race of 26:21.2. Junior Max Lustick was 28th with a time of 26:42.5 and junior #T.J. Luby# placed 29th with his run of 26:45.8.
