Illinois Wesleyan Titan Opener - Women's Results, Sept. 1

NORMAL, Ill. - The Illinois Wesleyan men's and women's cross country teams had the top 16 times in their respective races, romping to victories in the IWU Titan Open, held at Normal's Maxwell Park on Sept. 1.

In the men's competition, IWU had 15 points to 50 by Blackburn College, while the IWU women scored 15 points to 50 by Eureka in the three-team meet.

In the men's 5-K race, senior Wally Farris was first with a time of 16:16.62, followed by Max Lustick (16:16.85), Tyler Saunders (16:16.93), Bobby Castillo (16:46.41) and Keith Lehuta (16:51.31).

Lorin Biosca was the victorious runner in the women's two-mile race with her time of 11:57.78, followed by teammates Liz Ave Maria (12:03.91), Elise Anderson (12:06.36), Alexis Sampson (12:19.64) and Rachael Williams (12:24.41).
