Logan Hall proved that coming from a small town environment does not mean you can't run with the big dogs. The rising senior had an outstanding junior year in which he put a stamp on the competition as one of the elite talents in the state. Additionally, Hall had a goal to stay on par with his idol former Oakwood great Jon Davis through his junior year. Davis ran 14:20 for three miles and later 9:05.23 for 3200m- both places netted state championships. Hall has clocked 14:44 and 9:05.75- one earned a bronze and the latter a gold medal. As Hall aims for a state championship he will undoubtedly be among the elite distance runners in the Midwest and hopefully the nation by post-season's end.
