Four Kentucky schools drove north to Chicago to run against the best of Illinois. Three of the top schools in Class AAA Girls (Assumption, Daviess County, and Male) competed as well as St. Xavier on the boys side.
Kaitlyn Lacy was the top overall KY finisher on the Three Mile course in 8th place, finishing 9 seconds better than Sarah Michels from Assumption. Michels helped lead her team to the best finish of the bunch as the Rockets were 7th overall with 216 points. Daviess County was 11th overall with 357 with frosh Kate Rhoads in 29th. Male was 17th with 404.
On the boys side, St. Xavier was 7th overall with 248 points led by their 1-2 punch of Matthew Thomas in 21st and Spencer Hayden in 35th.
