Saunders wins shot put in Eugene, advances to World Jr. Championships

Burke graduate Raven Saunders continued her winning season by capturing the shot put title at the USATF Junior Championships. Saunders had a best of 55 feet, 10.25 inches.

Saunders' win means she will return to Eugene for the IAAF World Junior Championships from July 22-27.
